The Birth of Rise Finance

Rise Finance was founded by Tracy after more than two decades working across bookkeeping, business ownership, and the wellbeing industry. Following a career break to raise her children, Tracy built and operated two successful businesses while completing advanced studies in yoga teaching and therapy. As she gradually returned to accounts work after COVID, she recognised a growing need for more personalised, proactive support for small businesses navigating an increasingly complex financial landscape.

What began as a sole trading practice quickly grew through client referrals and long-term relationships built on trust. After five years of supporting business owners, Rise Finance Bookkeeping & Consultancy was established to provide a more holistic approach to bookkeeping and business support. Today, Rise exists to help businesses gain clarity, confidence and control over their finances, empowering owners to make informed decisions and create sustainable growth. Its vision is simple: to see local businesses rise, prosper and thrive.

    Tracy Lofberg

    BOOKKEEPER / ACCOUNTS MANAGER

    Numbers have always been her thing, but just as much, She’s driven by helping businesses grow, evolve, and actually enjoy the process along the way.

    Tracy has a Cert IV in Accounting is a Xero Advisor and is passionate about helping businesses thrive through accurate, thoughtful, and reliable financial support.

    She loves being surrounded by good people. Her family and friends light her up and seeing others succeed and bring prosperity to themselves and those around them. In her spare time, she loves walking her dog, trying something new and mini trips away.

    Yvie Scott

    BOOKKEEPER / ACCOUNTS MANAGER

    Bachelor of Business (Marketing) with a Dean’s Merit Award and Certificate III & IV in Accounting, combining financial expertise with strategic insight.

    Founder of a 14-year ethical business, awarded for sustainability, with experience in bookkeeping, governance, marketing, and stakeholder engagement. Known for her calm, attentive, and solutions-focused approach, she builds strong client relationships grounded in clarity and trust.

    Skilled in simplifying complex financial matters, digital tools, Canva, Shopify, and website management, with a commitment to continuous learning and ethical practice.

    Rochelle Watts

    CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER / ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

    Rochelle is an organisation extraordinaire, our queen in keeping us all in check and ensuring our practice runs smoothly and efficiently.

    Rochelle has a strong eye for detail and is passionate about ensuring every task is completed thoroughly and to a high standard. As the team’s go-to for administration and client work, she brings a thoughtful, organised, and reliable approach to everything she does. Rochelle holds a Certificate III in Business and Medical Administration.

    Rochelle is a dedicated Mum and values quality time with her partner & beautiful family above all else. She loves animals, anything with fur really, and baking in her spare time!

    Michelle Goswell

    PRACTICE MANAGER

    Michelle is our Manager at Rise Finance Bookkeeping & Consultancy Pty Ltd, with 40 years experience in Bookkeeping and Office Administration. 

    She holds a Diploma of Accounting from Tafe Queensland as well as qualifications from AAT [Association of Accounting Technicians] and Bookkeeping course from Oxford and Cambridge and is skilled in Bookkeeping, payroll, software implementation, and project management

    In her spare time Michelle enjoys hiking, being in nature and volunteering as a local JP.

    Her strengths include a strong eye for detail, a conscientious approach, and a diverse range of experience across small, medium, and large enterprises.

    For her, work is at its best when it’s both productive and fun. She loves bringing positive energy into the process. Kajal takes time to truly understand each client’s expectations and requirements, so the final result feels aligned and intentional. With a strong business perspective, she balances the bigger picture with the finer details.
